I usually get my office products at the Dollar Store. But their staplers will staple TWO pieces of paper together if you're lucky, so I finally caved in to buy a normal Bostitch stapler. It's so pretty in pink, and is quite durable! It staples like a breeze (many pages at a time) and the little staple puller thing works well too. I would definitely buy this again, because it makes my life easier.

Received the package opened it and stapler box was ripped and open. I was under the impression staples came with the stapler based on the product description.Not sure if the so called included staples fell out the ripped box or someone opened it and took them prior.Thank God I had staples already.Stapler was good.

Broke withing a few uses... I've been using staplers for over 25 years and I never had one that I couldn't unjam... this thing, works for a bit, then jams. Once it jams and you clear it, it just jams again.

This stapler is a good size and is sturdy. The color is a nice dark shade of pink. Please take note that there are 2 sets of starter staples hidden underneath the stapler in a secret compartment. How cool is that!

The Bostitch Ascent stapler has exceeded my expectations as a lightweight, light-duty stapler. Since I was a child I have been enamored with office supplies. As an adult, my love for cute supplies has become stronger. I have fallen in love with this stapler. I initially bought it due to the inexpensive price of $6.99 and the bright pink color. I was tired of coworkers borrowing and not returning my supplies. This allowed me to have a stapler I would recognize if it went missing.I was pleased when I got the stapler that it was just as pictured with the bright pink color. I was also pleasantly surprised by the storage compartment underneath that stores an extra sleeve of staples. I was also pleased to find that it fully swung open so that I can staple on bulletin boards as well. I bought the metallic purple one at first which LOOKS gorgeous but the staples were loose and it did jam. I figured I'd try the metallic pink one, because my sister's favourite colour is purple and mine is pink. I thought it would be nice for us both to have a shiny new stapler. The purple one seemed to work if I stapled more than just 2 pages so that's why I went ahead and bought the pink one. I got the pink one today and the first time I used it it became jammed and I almost couldn't UNjam it. It's also not metallic pink. It looks like cheap plastic. I'm returning the metallic pink one and might even return the metallic purple one. It would like nice sitting on your desk but don't plan on using it. I'm very disappointed in both staplers but at least the purple one is beautiful, for whatever that's worth.
