They do the job
Replaced old factory ones with these ones and they really do work well. No more hood shaking on the freeway.

Awesome
Like the look of these over the plastic ones you get. Easy install

Came apart, no extra parts. Does not weather well.
Not a durable product, difficult to install

Good buy
Hood latches was easy to install, some minor fitting involved in order to get them to latch on properly and hold down the hood with out issues, the finish isn't that good, started coming off after a few opening and closing of the latches that's why I gave it a 4 out 5 and also one of the provide plastic safety tabs broke on me a few days ago not a big deal though they still hold down the hood just fine with out it.

easy install - nice
only reason i don't give 5 stars, is because it is not adjustable.

Non-adjustable.
100% not adjustable. Great look. But would recommend one that is adjustable.

Thanks, but no thanks.
I was offered this product for free via the Amazon Vine program, and I thought why not -- it looks like a cute little bit of bling for my beloved JK Wrangler. The first problem I saw was that this hood latch has no allowance for adjustment. The factory latches include a length of rubber that stretches and makes the latches self-adjusting to the proper tension, but these have only solid metal in place of that rubber. Not only that, but the instructions sheet shows a different latch that is adjustable via some jam nuts, and explains how to adjust this other latch. The second problem is with step one of the instructions: "Remove the factory hood catch" -- with no explanation of how to do that. And it's not at all obvious how to remove the fender half of the factory hood catch. By looking around on the web I found a description of how to do this, and it requires a jointed extension for a socket wrench to get at the deeply burried nut that holds the lower latch assembly in place. (And of course you need this tool to install the new latch as well.)Well, it so happens that I have a jointed extension for my socket wrench, but it's staying in my tool box, and this replacement hood latch is going in the trash. It's clear from the video I found on removing and replacing Wrangler hood latches that this could easily turn into a difficult and frustrating chore, and in the end I might end up with a latch that's no good because it can't be adjusted, so I'd have to reverse the whole chore to put my factory latches back on.So thanks, but no thanks.
