I opened this rug and it smells like mildew. I’m going to wait a day or so and see if it still smells.The color was disappointing in that the colors are more muted, not as bright as in the product picture. The rug is more of a cream and light beige. It’ll work but I was really hoping for more bold colors.

I happen to have this particular design Safavieh rug in a 9 x 12 size. I need a smaller 2 x 3 area rug to match, so when I saw this on Amazon, I ordered it ASAP because the price was/is outstanding! Value = A+++

It's a soft color, which is what I like. I put it in my bedroom and I've been vacuuming it daily to try and get all the shedding. I'd take that into consideration depending on where you put the rug. I wouldn't put it in high traffic areas.

the poor quality. the color is different - he's a dirty beige cold shade. no bright colors. most importantly it is not carefully thread of different lengths. I had to take scissors and dub the thread has spent 40 minutes the pile is not very dense and short. for handmade carpet very low quality. my carpet is not lineal is a plus. I would buy it again-no. I then bought the rug Surya Caesar Rug. I will present for comparison. the price of a carpet about the same .

Very elegant, in pastel colors (pastel yellow and streaks of teak blue and pink), Aubusson feel, it will age very well as a good quality hand-tufted carpet should. Should be appreciated by those who know a thing or two about quality carpets.

I think the design this company makes are very nice but I wish they would let the buyer know that it will shed fibers for 4-6 months. I called the seller and manufacturer and was told that .I notice other reviews remark about this . Save your money for a Karastan which do not shed and last for years.

The rug is so dark it actually looks dirty, wouldn’t buy from this seller color is misleading.
