You do have to remember that these are crayons, they're not pencils. So they wear down fast, they break easy, but they're inexpensive to work better than Grease pencils.

Used black warriors for many years as my go-to pencil for woodworking. These had great reviews and were US made. Thought I'd give em a try.Simply stated.... game changer!Dark.. and I mean dark linesStrong lead, doesn't break easilySeems to keep a fine point longer. May be my imagination, but it sure seems that way.Be sure to have a larger-than-standard pencil sharpener at the ready.When these run out, will buy again!

I've purchased some cheap imports of these types of larger pencils, but they're NOTHING like the RevMark. Great at marking everything: wood, plastic, coated surfaces. Very heavy duty. If you don't have really small hands, they are VERY comfortable. I also am using them in the office for writing. The lead is very smooth. They're round rather than triangular like some of these pencils, and that allows you to easily rotate it periodically as you write so you can always have a thinner or thicker line. In summary, it's my go-to pencil for shop, garage, back office, or home. Kids love them. ALSO: Just ordered a box of these Revmarks in red; color-coding helps my people know critical measurements or comments.

My favorite carpenter pencil. Into my second case and I still have not found a broken lead or a flaw of any kind. Easy to hold and draw lines. Erases off materials easily with the high quality eraser. Writes on vapor barrier material. Easy to sharpen.

Will use all the time

I'm a carpenter and the lead kept snapping when doing layouts on wood floor. Also lead kept snapping when trying to make lines to cut on drywall. Pencil wrote like a fat crayon instead of pencil like described in description.
