This is perfect! It's just what I wanted, and was so easy to put together! All you need is a phillips screwdriver. I would NOT use a drill! There is glue included, which I did not use, and it still turned out fine. Unless you plan on manhandling this or dragging it around, you may not need the glue. I was concerned about it arriving damaged, or being a pain to assemble. It arrived very well packaged - no damage. It took me an hour and a half to put it together by myself, with multiple interruptions from my children. Everything lined up well, the pre-drilled holes were all perfect. I've had issues before assembling furniture with missing parts, or drawers not gliding properly, but this was so simple, and everything was just right. I read some negative reviews on this product. Maybe I just happened to get a good one, but my experience was perfect! The color is much darker than what I saw in the description, which is fine, because it matches my other furniture nicely. To me, the color in the online photos looks like a milk chocolate. I would say this is definitely a dark walnut. It has a very nice wood grain look, even for "fake" furniture. I tried very hard to capture the true color of this, but my camera is terrible! This is a very sturdy tv stand, but not super heavy. Also, you could assemble this without putting the feet on the bottom, if you needed something lower.

I like this TV stand.PROS: Its sturdy and looks good in my living room under my TV. I needed something there under a wall mounted TV and this does the job very well. It holds my DVDs and CDs in the side storage and the Blu-ray player in the center with room for other devices. Takes some time but I had no trouble putting it together. It arrive in the package without any damage, so I would say it is packed well, especially for how heavy it it.CONS: The side doors have shelve in them for internal storage but they are not holding up the the weight of DVD cases or CDs either. They are sagging. Also, while this will very with the device, I have to shift my Blu-ray player to the right of center in order for the IR remote to work through the center doors. Its pretty easy to scuff the veneer off a because of the dark finish the lighter wood shows through the scuff clearly.Taken for what this is, it holds up well and should last a long time with moderate use.

Despite the fact that this arrived later than Amazon projected, I was still hopeful when a large, heavy box came. In my my mind, heavy = sturdy. What I didn't realize is that the box is packed with extra wood for packing purposes in addition to the usual styrofoam.Still optimistic, I set about building my unit.Everything is cam locks and dowels, as I've come to expect with assembled furniture. The glue that is included wouldn't be suitable for a kid's craft project. I suggest getting some gorilla glue or other product.I also found that some pieces of the veneer had chipped off during shipping. I purchased the protection plan although I do not want a similar unit. Hopefully Amazon makes good on this.During assembly, I found that one part had holes in the opposite side it was supposed to, meaning that when I followed the pictures, the veneer side was facing the wrong way. Luckily I am handy with paint and markers and the part is usually behind the doors.Speaking of doors, prepare to curse the ancestors of whoever designed this. The screws are a pain to get past the holes in the hinges. Be prepared to fiddle with the door assembly until you have a proper fit for the doors to close.My other battles with the army of camlocks and cambolts that were improperly molded must have made the neighbors think I was murdering someone.Also be prepared to have every type and length of screwdriver available because a single Philips won't suffice. Also be prepared to be a contortionist because some of the camlocks may need to be tightened in awkward spots.To sum up: utter garbage. If I had one nice thing to say, it would be that the unit does look nice after you've assembled it and colored in numerous chips on the surface..

1. The console arrived one day sooner than the estimated arrival date. That impressed me. The UPS driver even set the box inside for me. I appreciated his thoughtfulness.2. The packing box appeared battered from shipping. I feared the console itself may have sustained damage. After opening the box, I realized that the console had been well packed. Full length sheets of Styrofoam protected the upper and lower console pieces. Smaller pieces were also protected with Styrofoam. Scrap wood protected both ends of the box. The sides of the box were protected with heavy-weight cardboard. I was impressed with the packaging. The console arrived undamaged.3. The console was easy to assemble. Each piece carried a sticker / label corresponding with directions. It took me several hours to assemble, not from difficulty, but because I was tired and didn't want to make foolish errors. I kept going back to the instructions to assure myself that I was correctly assembling it.4. I like the style. It looks like the picture on the website. The color is good, in the range I wanted. The finish on the top is different, shiny in some spots and dull in others. It could be better. But for the money, I can live with it. Once the TV is placed on top, it won't be that noticeable. Overall I'm quite satisfied.5. Humorous Note: I first opened an end of the box. The piece I saw was a grayish color and I wanted a brown-tone. All I could think was, "Crap, either I ordered the wrong color or they shipped the wrong item. This thing is too heavy and cumbersome to return." Then I turned the piece over and saw the sticker stating, "ONLY FOR PACKAGING". Relief washed over me and I had a good laugh.

It looks great—as much as we can do. Extra hardware came with it. Good instructions. It was fairly easy to assemble. It seems very sturdy—not at all wobbly. I really like it except... it came with two packages of the same hinges so we can’t mount the doors. We could mount half a door on each side, if that were possible. (Two pkg of “M” and no pkg of “L”.I guess we will have to go to a hardware store and see if we can find something identical to the hardware that came with it. Not very happy with this purchase.

Assembled in about 2 hours. Finished product looks nice. The drawer glides smoothly. The doors open and close smoothly and the hinges they provide will surely be strong enough to prevent future sagging. Had extra hardware. (which is way better than not getting enough) It would be nice if they provided more glue for the wooden pins.( We had to use our own glue when we ran out, but we had some so didn't need to run out to the store in the middle of the installation to get some.)So far, it seems to be better quality than most 'furniture in a box'.Satisfied with the finished product.

Pour tv au salon,j aime ce meuble, belle qualité,je suis une femme, j ai assemblé ce meuble seule en suivant très bien les instructions en prenant le temps de lire 2 fois .Petit truc ne pas sortir les objets des sacs, prendre juste ce qu'il faut et laisser les autres dans le sac pour bien les identifier au montage. 6 heures après c est fait.Je suis fière de moi.

I really like this TV stand. It's a beautiful dark colour and goes well with our living room furniture. My husband is a handyman. Even so, he did take several hours to put this together and there were some times when he wasn't too happy about the product. But he figured it out, and it looks beautiful.

I like the TV stand ever so much, I finally have a piece of furniture that I had purchased on my own and not something that has been handed down. But it mostly it holds my TV very well and has great storage for my belongings.
