When we opened the box, I said, “Mama Mia!” I couldn’t believe all the items that came with with this kit. It comes with plenty of safe sewing needles, stuffing, and thread. The characters are made from a tough felt with small wholes punches in them to guide the young seamstress. My only complaint is there are no guided instructions and Mario and Luigi are a bit tricky, but you can figure it out as you go along. It is a great price for the materials that are included.

Did not come with second “back side” for Mario or Luigi. Even though the instructions show stuffing these characters into plushies. You can’t. My son is pretty disappointed. This is the whole reason we bought this kit.

Update: you have to sew a lot of the front pieces to, to create the front of Mario and Luigi mm, then you sew it to the back piece and stuff it.Example: I lined up the overalls with a shirt, and then I lined that up with the back piece and sewed it together.I got this one figured out as I went along. I don’t think there are clear instructions on how to put Luigi and Mario together, but it still turned out super cute! Our son loves playing with it!!

My 8 year old needed a school project and these were perfect. I needed to start and finish the threads. But he was able to do the rest. He had a blast. Mario and Luigi seem like they are missing a piece. But you actually have to see the individual pieces together and that becomes the front piece, then you see on the back piece. This was a great price and a great project for us.

This kit has a number of pieces that require different skill levels. A couple of pieces were missing pieces, so I had to make replacement ones and that was not good. The stuffing is not sufficient to stuff all of the projects. There were plenty of needles and the needle threader was great. The directions were of no use, and resulted in much angst.

I bought this craft for my five year Mario lover. It comes with all the supplies you will need to complete the craft. All the products are well organized. The instructions are very basic, not very detailed, but it is simple enough to figure out if you have minimal sewing skills. My five year does need assistance with tying knots, changing thread color and matching the pieces up but it is fun to do it together. Older children should be able to easily do it on their own.

This was a great gift for my son who loooooves Mario and likes to be creative. Everything was included in this kit. It isn't difficult for him to do at age 8. This was a great buy. Very impressed.

As others have stated, the second piece for Mario and Luigi were missing and that's beyond frustrating. Otherwise, these are a cute and fun craft for a tiny human learning to sew.

Bought for my 6yo son. He loves it! He has made most of the characters now, with very little help from me. They are a nice size, and great for teaching sewing skills.
