Absolutely perfect kit for a beginner or a pro!My only critique is if you are a beginner, it doesn't come with a user manual/instructions.

WOW, When I opened my package I was so surprised by the beautiful way it was packaged. A beautiful blue box with a white ribbon bow. Such detail. And the best was yet to come. Inside the items were placed so nice. I wish I knew someone to order one of these sets for. Thank you.

It comes in a very nice box with a ton of stuff. I will probably reuse the box in the future to give gifts in instead of for storage though. I often have to pack my things together tightly the attached bow and ribbon would get ruined within a month if I used it for storage. If I'm buying this for myself, I would prefer something flat-sided, maybe a nice print to keep my punch tools in.The Instructions were on one side of a small sheet and does cover how to load and punch with the larger needles. As a gift item though it's more likely to go to a beginner who would also need to know eg. how small a thread to load the smaller needles with, type of fabric to use with them and how to use them without bending them. They will need an instructional book or look up tutorials and classes.

This does not come with instructions, and it comes with several different needle types which do not appear to function together. The large needle is nice but I wanted a small embroidery needle (hence my boolean search). The thread they include DOES NOT fit into the smaller needles, and furthermore the needles don't work in the typical punch needle method because they don't have a stopper on them until an inch or two... that means that your loops on the back side of the art will be an inch or two long, with embroidery width thread! that's insane.If you want to do punch-needle with the large needle, this kit is fine. But if you want to do punch needle EMBROIDERY, do yourself a favor and get the "UltraPunch" needle instead. It is the same style as the large needle (with a spring) but made for embroidery thread. You can buy it on Amazon.

This kit is adorable.It brings all the things a hobbyist needs to get started.The seller makes an effort to send some instructions (which I really appreciate). However, I suggest getting an idea of this technique with some YouTube video because it is not going to be enough with the instructions contained in the kit.I recommend it; I got exactly what I ordered and what I paid for.

Lack of instruction was a let down. Does a bow on the box make up for seemingly cheap product?Wish I had researched further in hindsite.

I just got into the embroidery scene, and wanted to try the punch needles. This comes with all the needles and thread you need to get started on your journey. They insert a bit of instructions to help. The thread included is more than enough to keep you in stock for future projects.

This is an excellent starter kit for punch needle stitching. You can't possibly get anything better than this. You'll need to buy some fabric as well as some extra thread, but all in all, the tools that you need are all here.
