Lincoln Electric FC90 Flux Core Wire Feed Welder and Gun, 90 Amp, 120V, Inverter Power Source for Easy Operation, Portable Shoulder Strap, Best for Small Welding Jobs

I am not a professionally trained welder but use welders for simple repairs around our average. I had previously had 2 cheap wire feed welders from the tool stores which would last a few years and pass away. The cheap tool store welders also didn't produce good quality welds but were fairly acceptable to just stick things back together. The welding speed and voltage adjustment settings make this a great hobby welder.

This in my opinion is by far the most economical, most reliable, and best flux core110v welder I’ve had the pleasure of working with.

Surprisingly good quality. Once wire speed and such were adjusted, had produced solid results, even for a novice. Great buy for every project I've used it on.

Gets the job done, and is a good value. Compact, reasonably powerful and reliable. Not ideal for thin sheet metal as the power cannot be adjusted low enough to avoid blow through. With practice, this limitation can be overcome by using VERY short bursts (1/2 second or less) and stitch welding.Lacks a carry handle, but comes with a shoulder strap that serves this purpose. Tightening the shoulder strap too far prevents the lid from opening, and there are no quick releases on the strap. As with all flux core welders, spatter is an issue but I found that cleanup was very easy.

Very portable compared to my old Lincoln and welds like a champ.

I bought this flux core welder for working on 16 gauge hood vents . This welder is a bit too hot for 16 gauge. It works great on eighth inch steel . Quarter inch steel is a great thickness for this machine also.I have to say this is a great welder for the money . I have a service shop and I am really impressed.

Perfect little portable welder. Just repaired the broken handle of a snow blower, quick and easy.
