I needed a light to be used by my pc that didn't blind me but that provided some badly needed extra light. This works perfectly for me - it looks like it belongs next to my Apple equipment - it is very well made - it is adjustable and provides an adequate amount of light - not too much, not too little, just perfect. The height of the arm is adjustable and has a locking mechanism to keep the light arm from sagging over time - nicely done.

The glass screwed over the bulb of the lamp is attached with screws. The two holes were drilled unevenly on the glass so that the glass fits on the lamp unevenly. (I purchased two lamps and both have this error so I am not going to ask for a replacement.) Obviously, Lamps Plus (the distributor) has very little Quality Assurance in their company. I am returning both to Amazon. What a shame.

Perfect on every level. Adds a nice classy touch to the room while delivering excellent lighting! This would also be a great light for a sewing area as well. Not your typical desk lamp. Beautiful!!

An LED bulb is expected to last 50,000 hours. I purchased this lamp after a previous purchase of the same lamp failed within 50 hours. Guess what -- the replacement lamp also burnt out within 50 hours. The lamp looks good, no doubt about it. But unless the bulb can be replaced, it is useless. DO NOT BUY THIS GARBAGE.

We bought three of these to use on the night stands and headboard in the bedroom. Yes they are very bright, bluish white LEDs. We turned the one on the headboard to point up and against the wall for a very nice evening light. We also aim one of the lamps on the night stand toward the wall to provide a nice TV background light but turn it towards a book for reading. In all, nice lamps.

This lamp is a beautiful and very versatile desk lamp. I bought one in June of 2017 direct from Lamps Plus. 2 days go the lamp started cutting out and back on, intermittently, creating a ramdom flashing effect. That's no-good for desk work so I unscrewed the lens cover to reveal the bulb for possible replacement. It's a flat pc board with the led mounted on it and two wires from the power supply in the base soldered onto it. (See photo) It could be easily replaced by any tech who can solder small wires and understands how to check polarity of the wires (both are white). But the vendor says the LED component is not replaceable (available). That means the entire brushed stainless steel desk lamp must be tossed out despite it's otherwise pristine condition. What a disappointment and ridiculous waste. I recommend you buy a lamp that has a replaceable bulb.
