Lenox Winter Greetings 12-Piece Dinnerware Set, 12.75 LB, Red & Green

I absolutely love my new china. I have admired this set for years, and only this year could I justify actually buying it. I still feel a little excited about it, and it's been over a month! The birds are just so pretty, and the curly ribbon and gold edges really make the table look special (as it should). I will never get tired of this. Oh! And I didn't realize it is dishwasher safe. I didn't risk it for the first couple of times using this, but on Christmas, I got lazy and daring (at the same time) and I threw them in the dishwasher and put it on the Heavy cycle.They wash up well in the dishwasher. We used them every day for 2 weeks after that, and I washed them in the dishwasher each time. They are wonderful. Still look new and will for a long time. Excellent.

I've been looking for Christmas dishes for many years and just didn't see anything that said "buy me". I saw these at a major department store last year and purchased a set. Then, lucky for me I was looking at Amazon and this pattern was available for much less than I could possibly hope for. I purchased another 12 place setting and am only sorry I didn't purchase two. These are so festive and have such beautiful colors. You could use any color cloth; I've used red, blue and green and they all look wonderful. Best of all I do put these in the dishwasher and they come out just fine. The last thing I want to do at gatherings is hand wash fine china or worry about the helpful teenager in the kitchen breaking a dish. These are reasonably priced and are the perfect holiday dinnerware set.

These dishes were clearly not Lenox, but a knock off from another country. They were poorly packaged, several were broken and had decals that rubbed off. I would never buy these again.

Bought this set to use all during the winter months. It's really beautiful. I ordered and was going to have a bunch of people over for dinner and was hoping they'd arrive in time. As luck would have it they arrived 2 hours before the guests so I quickly unboxed, loaded into the dishwasher and gave them a quick one hour wash and then set the table with them right from the dishwasher. They arrived well packed in perfect condition and I received compliments from my guests about the beautiful dinnerware. I took off one star because the mugs are not as pictured, the ones in my set have cardinals on them. I would've preferred the pictured mugs but the cardinal ones are nice too.

I opened my package and smiled. I’ve had a few sets of Christmas dishes over the years but I have to tell you, these dishes are the prettiest and nicest of them all. I don’t see me parting with them, I’m very pleased. They are just so beautiful and set a gorgeous table. Highly recommend, don’t hesitate to buy.

The china is so beautiful and the price for the set is so much lower than buying individual plates.

Bought 2 sets on sale for 139.99 each, which made them a great value. However, upon arrival we found that in 1st box we had 1 broken 8-in salad plate. In the 2d box we had 2 broken 8-in salad plates. Tried email and chat to Lenox customer service but got no response. Used the Amazon website to ask for a replacement and after answering a couple of questions, they stated they would send a complete set as a replacement and that we didn't need to send the damaged plates. HOWEVER, this new 3rd box contained 2 broken 8-1n salad plates. So now we have 12 dinner plates, 12 cups, and 7 salad plates. Oh by the way, after all this we heard back from Lenox. They said we needed to contact the seller. This wasn't Amazon's fault, it is the way Lenox chose to pack the items. The dinner plate and cups are packed tightly, the salad plates have enough space to move around and break during shipment.

I have 3 Annual Christmas Plates which are beautiful. As soon as I saw the dinner set I wanted one. Even though it will get used once a year they are worth it.

The china is not bone china as advertised but porcelain which has a slightly different look and feel.
