We used for protecting our wire while installing electronic panic bar retraction devices. Aluminum finish looks nice, cable is flexible, and the whole system installed with ease. The included screws were a little short for our application, but the rest of the kit was perfect. Make sure you test fit before mounting, with the door open as well as closed.

...You were mislead like I was. "Aluminum grey" would be more like it. It is a shade of grey similar to "battleship grey". A painted finish, not shiny & polished like the product photo, not even close to clear anodized. Just painted grey, no fancy hammertone nor metallic specks. The two covers on the ends were not even exactly matched in color. The corrugated tube, also painted grey, is very light and flexible and could be mistaken for plastic; but I checked with an ohmmeter and it is metal. Does it work? Yeah, but if it were actually finished like aluminum doors (usually anodized) are, it would get more stars.

Easy installation and helps hide unwanted cabling

Love the boxes on each end as they allow you to drill a decent size hole to fish the wires through! This is the best armored loop I’ve used.

As advertised. Pretty sturdy. No obvious manufacturing defects. Haven't actually tried to break it though. Just pulled on it some. Tube is plenty flexible

The whole thing feels insubstantial and cheap compared to the similarly styled one that I was trying to match.It is hard to tell whether the "armored cable" is metal or plastic. I'm pretty sure it's plastic. It doesn't seem like it will last very long on a door that is in regular use.

Works perfect for running security wiring.
