You will most likely want to so it measures perfectly for what you will place across. Cut it with a sharp box cutter to keep it looking like the factory cut it. TIP: Make should you are ready to glue it to the floor before pilling the sticky backing. It only ha a life of one good abrasive. The most 2. **Q: Will the adhesive harm luxury vinyl plank flooring when removed?** A: It will not harm the floors. I changed mine to a different color and there was no harm to my vinyl plank flooring. **Q: Can I use this to cover an Ethernet cable and a raised wooden room divider on the floor that divides my wooden living room and tile kitchen?** A: I was able to use it the same way. I just needed to reinforce it with a little extra adhesive of my own. **Q: Will the compact fit an Ethernet cord and a Coaxial cable?** A: Yes they will fit. Note that the adhesive does not stick very well if your wall is not smooth. You may need little nails. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ This works ignore the bad reviews! *by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 21 March 2020* I used this to cover the cable from our double recliner sofa, across a laminate floor. It worked perfectly and it's now been down 4 weeks and is still stuck fast. The trick is to ensure you clean the surface before sticking it down. ### ⭐⭐⭐ OK *by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 31 January 2026* Reasonable quality however arrived rolled up and the tape has come off. Also it's taken a full month to arrive. ### ⭐ Doesn't stick *by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 1 November 2018* It arrived rolled up and the paper protecting the sticky backing was not properly on the strip. This means that when I stuck it onto the (cleaned) floor, it didn't stick fully. The next day it was completely lifted off the floor, causing a trip hazard, which was the main reason I bought the strip in the first place, to cover the wires so they wouldn't be a trip hazard.I'm not sure if I can return this now as I have cut it down to size. ## Frequently Bought Together - UT Wire 5-Feet Cable Blanket High Capacity Low Profile Cord Cover and Protector, Beige - D-Line 6ft Floor Cord Cover, Cable Protector, Hide Extension Cords, Protect Cords, Prevent Cable Trips, Heavy Duty Cord Hider - Cable Cavity = 0.63" (W) x 0.31" (H) - Beige --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://frenchpolynesia.desertcart.com/products/65722965-ut-wire-5-feet-cable-blanket-high-capacity-low-profile](https://frenchpolynesia.desertcart.com/products/65722965-ut-wire-5-feet-cable-blanket-high-capacity-low-profile) --- *Product available on Desertcart French Polynesia* *Store origin: PF* *Last updated: 2026-10-02*
