**Update 09/04/18**After my original review, I reached out to the seller -Sharp Knife- via email, advised which knife was missing from my set, and to my pleasant surprise received an immediate response! I subsequently received another reply with notification of shipment and a phone call to confirm. The package arrived within a couple days and my set is now complete. In all it took about a week for the final knife to arrive and I am beyond impressed. Not only was the response timely and professional, but very convenient for me as the consumer. Now that I’ve have gotten some use out of the set I can also vouch for the quality of the blades. They are sharp and get the job done with ease. The only con I can add is that the smaller blades don’t fit snug in the slots so they tend to sit uneven unless you take the time to angle them all the same (just my OCD tendencies speaking)... Overall, I am very happy with my purchase and experience with this company!**Original Post 08/25/18**Looks nice but didn’t receive all the knives, the box only came with 13. Kinda looks silly with an open slot (no, not the built in knife sharpener slot, an actual knife slot). Can’t say for durability as I haven’t used it yet.

I like the weight and balance of the knives. They are very sharp and slice veggies and meat very thin with no problem. The knives are constructed in one piece, eliminating the chance of the handle or blade snapping off. The block is solid wood and heavy; stays in place without having to hold it to remove the knives. I like the multiple knives designed for specific cuts - plus it includes the scissors, small size cutting board, and built-in sharpener. This is by far the best knife set I've ever purchased. The quality is amazing; made to last a long time. Definitely worth the money. Very satisfied. A++++

I wanted to wait a few weeks before writing a review on these. They're very pretty, very light weight (hollow) and very sharp. However, you have to hand wash and dry them IMMEDIATELY after using. I haven't ever put these in the dishwasher, but the fact that I didn't wash them right away, caused 2 of them to rust! They were not sitting in water either. For stainless steel...I would expect there to be a little more leighway with that. It's very disappointing. Not only did those two knives rust, but a couple of them have bent tips just from normal use?! I've had the same old knife set, very basic, for the last 8 years. Dishwashed my old knives every time and never, ever had I had a rusty knife or a bent tip! The only reason I upgraded was to have a pretty, new knife set. Pretty it is, but that's it. These are poorly made. Sure wish I'd spent the money on the tools of the trade set I had before. Spend your money elsewhere.

I think if you’re going to advertise something as stainless steel, then the product should be stainless steel. I’ve had these knives for a few months, careful to wash them by hand, as per the instructions on the box, and they still keep getting rustier and rustier. There are even little chips and knicks where the rust has lirtally eaten away the metal. This shouldn’t happen to “stainless steel” utensils I thought.Aside from the rusting, they are a nice looking set, very lightweight and do what they’re supposed to rather well. I am very pleased with the variety of knives that came with this set and the bamboo block is attractive and sturdy.I really had my hopes up with these knives since they’re nearly $100. It’s pretty ridiculous that you have to pay more than that for something as simple as “stainless” or “rust resistant “. I would have just purchased a cheap set at Walmart had I known they would do this.

Love these knives and it has a sharpener built in! All one piece of metal; no wood, no screws or rivets! Great birthday present! I want some now! Highly recommended.

After a great deal of research on knife sets, I decided to try this one out. I was very pleased with the delivery and how everything was packaged. The knives are perfect for me and my style of cooking. They’re lightweight, stylish and cut very well. I love that the knife block comes with a built in sharpener. I’d definitely recommend this product.

I received these just over a week ago and they are very sharp. The knife block looks great in my kitchen and the sharpener is wonderful for my older knives. I haven't been able to cut through a tomato skin in forever without tearing it and these knives go through very smoothly. I would definitely recommend!

The knives are beautiful and modern, very light-weight and super sharp. I have used my set for about 2 months, and find they handle all tasks. In that time, I have done an occasional re-sharpen, and the fine sharpness comes right back. Easy to handle, even if you have any hand problems. Another comment: If you are cutting something like a a 1 lb. cheddar cheese, a heavier knife works easier. I kept a couple from my previous set. The price is a bargain!
