You can check on Silva's website and it will explain the regions and which type you require. We only sell MN regions. **Q: Is it possible to adjust for declination?** A: These a counterfeit SILVA products, the bezel holding the compass is not filled with Oil, not even water, so the needle is erratic and I don’t trust it. Amazon offered a replacement but why replace a fake product with another fake product. Just avoid and buy from somewhere more reliable. **Q: does this item come with the lanyard?** A: Yes mind did. A green lanyard instead of the usual red lanyard. **Q: Is this a global compass? Or is the needle set for MN region?** A: The Silva 4 Militaire is not a global compass, unfortunately - you will need a version with a needle balanced for your destination - I hope this helps. ## Frequently Bought Together - Silva Compass 4 Militaire - 6400/360 - Silva Compass CASE Black, One Size - Coyote Brown Pace Counter Matte Black Veteran Made Ranger Beads --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://frenchpolynesia.desertcart.com/products/48246260-compass-4](https://frenchpolynesia.desertcart.com/products/48246260-compass-4) --- *Product available on Desertcart French Polynesia* *Store origin: PF* *Last updated: 2026-10-05*
