## Description

Elden Ring

Review: Yeah, it's good. It's very good. - Elden Ring is an extremely well-made game. Not the best I've personally played, but that's a matter of taste more than anything. As an example of this kind of game however - difficult to master, deliberately bleak, massively open-world, to name a few - it's hard to see it being topped any time soon. Despite my preferences lying elsewhere however, I willingly poured in all the hours this game solicits from its players, with the come-hither finger-curl of the cryptically-clad demi-god seductress, pointing you on towards a horizon as full of promise as it foreboding. My jungle brain duly got itself hooked seeing my character's levels tick upwards; my stubborn pride pushed me to challenge foes well above my standing, over and over like a pre-steroid Steve Rogers; and yes, my wrists succumbed to carpel tunnel syndrome. All sacrifices I found myself happy to lay at the feet of the coruscating Erdtree. Game of the year, definitely. And as a hitherto souls virgin with no prior bias, I’d say that’s high praise.
Review: Strangely addictive - This was the first time I'd ever played a FromSoft game. I didn't even think I would have the skills to beat it. But here am now, having not only got the PS4 Platinum Trophy, but the PS5 Platinum Trophy too. In fact I got a PS5 console especially just to beat the game again in better graphics, with the free upgrade. Not even entirely sure I have grasped the Dark Souls concept of skill set or build quality yet! I believe the difficulty is dependant on the player, because you can actually turn the difficulty up or down with the set up of the builds. Create your own challenges within the main challenge. Having been reliant on the new system of spirit ash summoning in my first play through, I then concentrated my Journey 2 campaign playing solo more, even beating bosses suffering no damage. Sometimes even beating bosses in the first attempt, or in 30 seconds! Took me 2 hours to beat the very first Tree Sentinel (solo). Now it's got to a point where I use the respawning Tree Sentinel in Leyndell just to test out weapons! I have a squishy melée build, so getting smashed up by that Tree Sentinel, there's something strangely addictive about it.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Will there be visible feet?**
A: This is a third person action RPG. You'll see a lot of feet. Including the feet of enemies, and your own character's feet. You'll in fact see entire bodies of most characters you'll encounter. Invisible feet is mostly only an issue in some first person games that don't animate the player's character body behind the camera.

**Q: Will the fallen rise again once more to tend to thy flame?**
A: Kinda, but now the fallen are Tarnished and thy flame is the Golden Order

**Q: I'm having trouble with glaive master hodir, any tips?**
A: Be wary of crab

**Q: How many gigabytes will it need on PS4?**
A: 44.19 GB, but PS4 always want you to have some extra space for recording videos and downloading system updates, you might need some more space than that

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Masterpiece
*by M***D on 3 April 2026*

This is probably the greatest value game you can purchase, alongside the likes of GTA and Red Dead. The amount of content is just insane and the game is absolutely perfect in all regards. Masterpiece, one of a kind, highly recommend.
