There is a motorized mirror in the headlights. When you use brights the mirror inside flips to give you full bulb wattage. So these headlights are designed for single bulbs only. Your old bulbs will not work. The H11 bulbs I used were purchased online and had a specific ring before the bulb in order for the retaining ring to hold the bulbs securely.
