Its water-based, low dust, and odorless formula offers a wide processing window, making it ideal for professional-grade paint correction and surface rejuvenation. ## Description SONAX PROFILINE Ultimate Cut is a high-speed abrasive paint correction compound for detailers who need fast material removal on demanding jobs. Built with ultra-pure, extremely hard aluminum oxide, it removes sanding marks up to P1000 and is designed for fresh paintwork and very large surfaces where process speed matters, including motorhomes and boats. Cut 6+ delivers strong correction, while the silicone-free formula keeps the process body-shop friendly.Use this automotive polishing compound when heavier defects or sanding marks call for more cut than a finishing polish can provide. The water-based, low-dust formula is made without fillers or silicones, helping pads stay cleaner and residue wipe away more easily during correction. The 1 L size is well suited to repeated work in professional shops, garages and larger detailing projects. For best results, inspect the paint first and sand with P1000 grit or finer only when necessary. With a rotary polisher, SONAX recommends Lambswool Pad with an orbital machine or use Hybrid Wool Pad. You may tilt the machine slightly at the beginning, then keep the pad flat and work several short polishing cycles, especially on fresh paint. Wipe away residue with Microfibre Cloth soft touch.Ultimate Cut is a cutting compound for cars and other large painted surfaces, but it is intended as the correction stage rather than the final gloss step. After cutting, refine the finish with SONAX PROFILINE Perfect Finish when a higher gloss is desired. Regularly clean polishing pads and never use different polishes on the same pad.Do not use on hot surfaces. Protect the product against frost. Rated Cut 6+ / Gloss 3, it is a heavy correction step before final refinement. When used with the recommended machine and pad combination, this ultra cut compound gives you a controlled, professional workflow for P1000-level correction without turning the process into a long, repetitive compounding session.
