The best blanket I have run into. Quite a bit warmer than the Hudson Bay blanket I had previously used. The Solaron blanket is heavy and drapes around one in bed, kind of like a warm hug. I really like it. My sleep has improved because of it. Due to its weight, the shipping charges are noticeably high. My thanks to the Solaron people for going above and beyond to get the blanket to me. Review: A Warm Hug - This is the second one that I’ve purchased. I love this blanket. It is hard to find solid colors or ones without a pattern. Sadly the previous one was washed with another blanket and got lint on it that I have not been able to remove. The blanket is warm soft and feels like a weighted blanket. I keep one on my bed and the other by the sofa. ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B000GZDPXS | | Additional Features | Durability | | Age Range Description | Adult | | Best Sellers Rank | #3,426,678 in Home & Kitchen ( See Top 100 in Home & Kitchen ) #6,332 in Bed Blankets | | Blanket Form | Weighted Blanket | | Brand | SOLARON | | Brand Name | SOLARON | | Color | Navy | | Customer Reviews | 4.6 out of 5 stars 67 Reviews | | Fabric Type | Long Fur High Q Polyester | | Fabric Warmth Description | Heavyweight | | Fill Material | Polyester | | Item Dimensions L x W | 94.49"L x 78.74"W | | Manufacturer Part Number | B000GZDPXS | | Material | Acrylic | | Material Type | Acrylic | | Model Name | BLANKET | | Model Number | COMINHKR002358 | | Number of Items | 1 | | Pattern | Solid | | Product Care Instructions | Machine Wash | | Recommended Uses For Product | Napping | | Seasons | All | | Size | Queen | | Special Feature | Durability | | Sport Type | Camping | | Style | Korean | | Style Name | Korean | | Subject Character | Solid | | Theme | Plain | | UPC | 011032077427 | | Unit Count | 1 Count | ## Product Details - **Brand:** SOLARON - **Color:** Navy - **Material:** Acrylic - **Special Feature:** Durability - **Style:** Korean ## Images ![SOLARON SOLID BLANKET - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61pxMJuQdfL.jpg) ![SOLARON SOLID BLANKET - Image 2](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/719dF1ym-dL.jpg) ![SOLARON SOLID BLANKET - Image 3](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/81yuEWuJfLL.jpg) ![SOLARON SOLID BLANKET - Image 4](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/51vOvoIsanL.jpg) ![SOLARON SOLID BLANKET - Image 5](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/51NKCdND56L.jpg) ## Questions & Answers **Q: Is it navy or more royal?** A: It has a heavy nap. This causes the blanket to appear darker (almost black) in low light conditions; navy in regular lighting, but - in strong light - the matted down portion can appear to be much lighter than navy. However, I do not think it ever appears to be as bright a blue as royal. **Q: Does it shed?** A: Not like the cheap ones do, no. **Q: Is this 2 ply?** A: Yes, the two I bought in 2012 from this manufacturer was the heavy two-ply desired. **Q: How would you describe the tone of this blue color? royal, navy, cobalt, Egyptian, etc. vibrant or dark? thanks!** A: Solaron Queen Solid Navy Korean Mink Blanket : Words don't really describe the color well. It's somewhere between a Navy blue and a Royal Blue, because it has a sheen to it's fibers. The best way to really see it would be to look at the 5th picture on the Amazon site (counting from the first one on left) and zoom over it with the mouse. That's a pretty accurate color of the blanket. You really can't tell unless you zoom in tho. Hope that helps! ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent blanket *by A***H on December 3, 2025* This is a warm, thick, fleece blanket. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A Warm Hug *by T***L on November 19, 2022* This is the second one that I’ve purchased. I love this blanket. It is hard to find solid colors or ones without a pattern. Sadly the previous one was washed with another blanket and got lint on it that I have not been able to remove. The blanket is warm soft and feels like a weighted blanket. I keep one on my bed and the other by the sofa. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Warm and Heavy for the cold Winter *by V***. on February 14, 2013* Solaron is one of the top quality brands of Korean blankets. It is dense. You can curl the waft and weave back on itself and not be able to see the base/middle fabric at all, because of the number of threads per inch. If you are looking for a heavy single blanket to keep you warm in a cold room (it can get down into the 40's Fahrenheit / single digits in Centigrade) then this is for you. This is a cold-winter blanket. Maybe still OK for the shoulder months, but too hot for Spring/Fall. If you can not sleep under a heavy blanket - this is not for you. But if you want to stop using an electric blanket or need a great blanket to keep you warm all night even in below freezing temperatures . . . look no further. ## Frequently Bought Together - SOLARON Queen Solid Navy Blue Korean Mink Blanket - Dawhud Direct Mystic Tree Wolf Blanket - 50x60-Inch Soft Plush Throw for Adults and Kids - Cozy Fleece Blanket for Bed, Sofa, or Travel - Thoughtful Gifts for Wolf Lovers - 7.8lb Heavy Queen Size White Tiger Blanket - 2ply Thick Warm Plush Korean Mink Fleece, No-Lint Microfiber San Marcos Design Raschel Winter Bed Blanket - Cozy Mexican Throw Blankets for Adults, 79”x95” --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://frenchpolynesia.desertcart.com/products/16043491-solaron-solid-blanket](https://frenchpolynesia.desertcart.com/products/16043491-solaron-solid-blanket) --- *Product available on Desertcart French Polynesia* *Store origin: PF* *Last updated: 2026-11-02*
